From concept to completion, you’ll own critical pieces of our most important projects, ensuring they are precise, efficient, and aligned with our strategic goals. You bring a hands-on mentality, a collaborative spirit, and 2+ years of experience ready to be put to the test.
**What You’ll Do:**
As our Project Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing preliminary engineering designs, material specifications, and accurate project cost estimates.
* Conducting feasibility studies and economic analyses to guide our decisions.
* Determining design criteria based on required standards and codes, ensuring all projects meet rigorous compliance.
* Performing vital field work and translating completed projects into detailed as-built drawings.
* Reviewing engineering submissions from our plants for accuracy and providing expert guidance.
You’ll also act as a project manager when needed, collaborating closely with management and engineering teams to implement plans seamlessly. A significant part of your role involves coordinating with equipment vendors to plan layouts, reviewing consultants’ work, and assisting with contract administration and bid package reviews. You’ll be the central point ensuring installations meet specifications and stay firmly within budget.
From the pre-project phase, you will conduct planning and operational studies, define scopes of work, and prepare and evaluate proposals. Keeping everyone aligned, you’ll submit clear weekly status reports to management, ensuring every project stays on schedule.
**What You Bring:**
* A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant project engineering experience.
* A solid foundation in applying scientific and mathematical principles to real-world industrial challenges.
* The ability to lead small teams, manage project sections, and grow into owning small-to-medium projects.
* A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to precision in design, documentation, and field execution.
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate with vendors, consultants
