🏢 Full Time
**Shape the Safety Culture of a Growing Food Leader**
Are you a builder at heart, ready to architect a best-in-class safety program from the ground up? This is your opportunity to step into a newly created, high-impact role where you will be the foundational EHS leader for a dynamic, multi-site food manufacturer. You’ll have direct access to the executive team and the autonomy to design and implement a unified vision for safety across four production facilities, ensuring every team member goes home safely every day.
**About This Opportunity:**
We are a fast-growing ready-to-eat food producer, and we’re bringing on our first dedicated EHS Manager to centralize and elevate our safety culture. This isn't about maintaining the status quo. You will be the architect, constructing a proactive, preventative safety framework across our entire organization. You’ll travel to our facilities, connect with teams on the ground, and build something lasting and meaningful. We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $135,000 per year for this pivotal role based in Forest Park, GA.
**What You Will Do:**
You will own the entire EHS function. Your mission is to design and roll out a unified safety program across our four manufacturing sites. This means you’ll lead incident investigations, own the workers’ compensation program from claims to return-to-work, and conduct audits and training to foster a vigilant culture. A key focus will be building out robust near-miss reporting systems and ensuring every finding has clear follow-through.
Your expertise will ensure OSHA compliance in critical areas like Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, and confined space. You will standardize PPE programs and support environmental compliance initiatives. Ultimately, you will be the voice of safety, reporting key metrics and strategic insights directly to company leadership.
**You Bring:**
* A BS/BA degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* At least 3 years of hands-on EHS experience within a manufacturing environment, with food or CPG experience being essential.
* A solid, practical foundation in OSHA compliance and plant-level safety.
* Proven experience building or restructuring safety programs—you know how to create them, not just follow them.
* Direct experience managing workers’ compensation programs with measurable results.
* A willingness to travel up to 50% to our facilities (located in CA, IL, and NJ) to connect, audit, and train.
* Strong preference for bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills.
* Multi-site exposure and OSHA/CSP/CIH certifications are significant advantages.
If you’re a proactive leader who thrives on building order from the ground up and wants to see your direct impact on a growing company’s most important value—safety—we need to connect.
