Corporate Director of EH&S
📍 Dallas, Texas
đź’° $225,000 - $260,000
🏢 Full Time
**About This Opportunity**
This isn’t just another safety leadership role. It’s a chance to shape the environmental, health, and safety strategy for a major manufacturing organization from the ground up—based in Dallas, with influence that crosses borders. If you’ve spent 15+ years building, scaling, and owning corporate EHS programs, and you’re ready to lead a team that doesn’t just check boxes but drives real change, this is your next move.
**What You’ll Do**
You will own the corporate EHS function—developing, executing, and evolving programs that protect people, the planet, and the bottom line. Your work will span the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, so you’ll need to think beyond one set of regulations.
- Design and implement corporate-wide EHS strategies that align with business goals, not just compliance
- Lead a team of EHS professionals, mentoring them through career progression and complex challenges
- Manage legacy soil and groundwater remediation projects—working with consultants, overseeing financial reserves, and driving closure
- Aggregate safety, environmental, and sustainability data, then turn it into reports that actually inform decisions
- Travel up to 25% to manufacturing sites, building relationships and auditing programs in person
**What You Bring**
You’ve been in the trenches and in the boardroom. Your career shows a clear arc from hands-on site work to corporate-level responsibility.
- **15+ years of professional experience**, with at least five years developing and executing corporate-wide EHS programs
- Deep **manufacturing industry knowledge**—you understand the pace, the pressure, and the practical realities
- A **proven track record managing a team** (not just supervising, but developing people)
- **Excellent communication skills**—you can write a policy, present to executives, and influence a plant manager in the same day
- **Strong analytical and project management chops**—you don’t just identify problems; you build the plan to solve them
- **Extensive knowledge of U.S. federal and state EHS regulations** (OSHA, EPA, DOT, etc.)
- **Working knowledge of Mexican and Canadian environmental programs** is a strong plus
- Experience with **sustainability reporting and data aggregation**—you know the difference between a metric that matters and one that doesn’t
- Comfort managing **consultants and financial reserves** for remediation work
**Compensation & Location**
This role is based in **Dallas, Texas**, with a compensation range of **$225,000–$260,000 per year**.
If you’re ready to lead with both strategy and grit, we want to hear from you.
