**Your Mission: Orchestrate Peak Plant Performance**
You will be the central hub for all maintenance and engineering support, blending deep technical expertise with sharp project management. Your primary mission is to plan, schedule, and oversee activities that maximize equipment availability, safety, and cost-effectiveness. You’ll dive into data, coordinate intricate projects, and serve as our subject matter expert for our CMMS, Maximo.
A typical week will see you balancing purchasing, daily work order planning, pre-outage strategy, contractor supervision, and post-outage analysis. When the Maintenance Manager is away, you will step up to direct the maintenance team, ensuring seamless operations.
**What You Will Do**
* Own the planning and execution of planned overhauls and plant betterment projects, providing vendor and contractor oversight from start to finish.
* Act as the in-house expert for our maintenance computer programs and Maximo CMMS, ensuring data integrity and optimal system use.
* Coordinate performance, functional, and surveillance testing. You’ll analyze data against standards, diagnose wear or malfunctions, and drive continuous equipment improvement.
* Proactively use tools and analysis techniques to identify developing equipment issues before they lead to forced outages.
* Develop and refine preventative and scheduled maintenance activities in collaboration with the team.
* Lead outage planning for all disciplines—mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical—and manage long-term maintenance schedules.
* Evaluate equipment failures and assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence.
* Partner with the Operations Manager to track service hours, equivalent starts, and operating parameters, updating Major Maintenance Inspection schedules and expense projections for combustion turbines.
* Manage the entire service contract purchasing process, including requests for proposal and contract issuance.
**You Bring**
* A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, ideally within power generation, utilities, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
* Proven expertise with a CMMS; Maximo experience is a significant advantage.
* A strong analytical mind skilled in performance data evaluation, root cause analysis, and long-term maintenance forecasting.
