**What You’ll Do**
You’ll step into a role that blends clinical depth with real human impact. As a Social Worker (MSW) in hospice, you’ll be the steady hand and compassionate voice for patients and families navigating life’s hardest transitions. Your days will include:
- Assessing and resolving psychosocial issues that affect health and well-being, from discharge planning to crisis intervention
- Using supportive counseling and therapeutic techniques to help patients build coping strategies when illness or disability changes their lives
- Facilitating support and education groups, and stepping in for crisis interventions when needed
- Representing the healthcare system at community boards or task forces—your voice will matter beyond the hospital walls
- Staying current on laws and ethical standards as set by the Ohio Counselor and Social Work Board

**What You Bring**
- A Master’s in Social Work (MSW) and current Ohio licensure (LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC)
