**Your Mission**
You will specialize in the heart of our plant operations: industrial refrigeration, boilers, and compressed air systems. Your days will mix deep technical problem-solving with hands-on project leadership. You’ll be the go-to expert, ensuring our utilities are not only reliable and compliant but are also evolving through innovation and smart engineering.
**What You Will Do**
You will work directly with facilities and project engineering teams to develop Capital Infrastructure Plans, turning strategic goals into actionable blueprints. A key part of your role involves engaging and managing professional refrigeration engineering resources during project design and development phases.
On the compliance front, you’ll assist our facilities and PSM Management Team, ensuring we meet all regulatory standards. You’ll dive into designing solutions, selecting equipment, obtaining quotes, and scheduling work. When issues arise with our facility refrigeration systems, you’ll develop and help implement effective resolutions.
Your drive for improvement will lead you to implement new systems, standardize equipment, and optimize all utility systems based on precise facility operating requirements. You’ll identify deficiencies by performing load, charge, and relief calculations, and correct them. Furthermore, you’ll assist in planning and budgeting for improvement projects, ensuring they meet expectations and deadlines. Finally, you’ll research and test new technologies, assessing complex operations to provide critical support to our Operations management.
**What You Bring**
* A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field, plus 2+ years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
* A crucial certification: RETA CIRO, IIAR2, Garden City Program Operator II, or an equivalent certification from a nationally recognized ammonia training program.
* More than just practical know-how—you possess a strong theoretical understanding of industrial refrigeration systems and can expertly apply that knowledge to your daily responsibilities.
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to communicate effectively with teams at all levels.
