**About This Opportunity**

You’ll lead a team of about 12, work shoulder-to-shoulder with operators and supervisors, and drive results in a clean-room setting where GMP compliance isn’t optional—it’s everything. **What You’ll Do**
You’ll oversee the full production cycle—from formulation and batching to filling and packaging. That means you’re the person who sets the pace, clears bottlenecks, and ensures every SOP is followed to the letter. You’ll maintain a strong floor presence, not a corner office. When a deviation pops up, you’ll partner with quality on investigations and CAPAs. When a new hire walks in, you’ll help train and onboard them. You’ll also coordinate with logistics, continuous improvement, and quality teams to tighten efficiency without sacrificing compliance. Your goal: bring structure and discipline to evolving production systems, without overengineering them.

**What You Bring**
- A BS in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related scientific field (or 5+ years of relevant experience in regulated manufacturing)
- 7+ years in pharmaceutical, regulated consumer products, chemical, or similar manufacturing
- At least 3 years in a production or operations leadership role
- Solid GMP knowledge—SOPs, investigations, CAPAs are second nature
- Clean-room or controlled manufacturing experience preferred
- A hands-on leadership style: you’re visible, approachable, and decisive
- Comfort in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
- The ability to build structure without creating bureaucracy

**Compensation & Location**
This role is based in West Chicago, Illinois, and pays **$100,000–$130,000 per year**, plus an annual performance bonus of up to 10%.
