Smart Factory Logistics Operations Manager
📍 Cleveland, Ohio

🏢 Full Time
**About This Opportunity**
This isn’t just another logistics role. It’s a chance to architect the future of a smart factory in Cleveland, where you’ll bridge the gap between physical production and digital intelligence. If you’re the kind of leader who sees data as a competitive weapon and thrives on transforming how people work—not just what they produce—this is your next move. You’ll own the entire production-to-warehouse ecosystem, drive Industry 4.0 integration, and build a culture where every shift is fluent in digital decision-making. Ready to make your mark?
**What You’ll Do**
You will have total oversight of both the production floor and the warehouse/logistics ecosystem. Your mandate is to lead the facility’s Digital Agenda, transforming raw data into operational speed, and mentoring a workforce that is as comfortable with a digital dashboard as they are with chemical processing equipment.
- **Digital Transformation & Industry 4.0 Integration**
Lead the implementation of real-time performance systems and automated data collection. Use advanced analytics to predict and prevent performance gaps before they hit the P&L. You’ll be the primary change agent, training managers and supervisors to use SAP and digital KPIs for daily decisions—shifting the culture from “react-and-repair” to “predict-and-prevent.”
- **Production Excellence & High-Performance Leadership**
Own the end-to-end production process for high-performance adhesives and sealants, ensuring every liter meets global quality specs. Partner with the Continuous Improvement lead to deploy Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, institutionalizing “Fast Response” problem-solving at every level. You’ll also drive shift collaboration and engagement strategies that keep a 24/7 operation motivated and accountable.
- **Advanced Logistics & Material Flow**
Direct all warehouse functions, optimizing the physical-to-digital link where inventory accuracy meets automated tracking. Manage raw material inventory, shipment planning, and receiving schedules to achieve zero production downtime while minimizing carrying costs. Maintain rigorous standards for SOPs, chemical safety, and regulatory documentation, keeping the facility audit-ready at all times.
**What You Bring**
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or similar).
- 5–10 years of leadership experience in a chemical, process, or high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record with digital tools (SAP, MES, real-time dashboards) and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- The ability to coach and inspire a diverse workforce—from operators to supervisors—to embrace data-driven decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management, material flow optimization, and chemical safety compliance.
