**What You’ll Do:**
You’ll be the go-to expert for electrical upkeep and troubleshooting across our production floor. Your primary mission is to maintain and repair industrial equipment—from automated lines and material handling systems to environmental controls and operator interfaces. You’ll diagnose issues with power components, VFDs, instrumentation, contactors, and PLCs, ensuring all systems operate safely and within spec.
A key part of your role involves performing scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime and extend equipment life. You’ll meticulously document all service activities and corrective actions in our maintenance tracking system.
Beyond daily troubleshooting, you’ll collaborate with engineering and operations teams on technical improvements. You’ll help implement updates, retrofits, and enhanced controls to boost overall efficiency. Safety is paramount: you’ll strictly adhere to NEC standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and all plant safety protocols, actively contributing to our culture of workplace safety.
**What You Bring:**
* An active Journeyman Electrician certification in the State of Delaware (required for consideration).
* At least 2 years of hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.
* Proven skill in electrical maintenance—this role is focused on upkeep and reliability, not new installation.
* A solid understanding of power distribution, controls, and PLCs.
* A commitment to working safely and following detailed procedures.
**Compensation & Details:**
* **Salary:** $100,000 - $115,000 per year (commensurate with experience).
* **Location:** This position is fully on-site at our manufacturing facility in Williamsburg, Delaware.
