**About This Opportunity**

We’re looking for an Operations & Maintenance Manager who can balance technical precision with people leadership, all while driving safety, efficiency, and long-term reliability. Based in Lakewood, NJ, with occasional travel to our Rising Sun, MD facility, you’ll be the operational backbone of a team that keeps critical infrastructure running 24/7.

**What You’ll Do**
You’ll oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of three facilities, working closely with the General Manager to ensure every shift runs smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

- Directing plant startup, shutdown, and monitoring of main components, auxiliaries, and system controls
- Developing and enforcing safety protocols—then holding everyone accountable to them
- Continuously improving programs in operations, maintenance, chemistry, environmental control, and safety
- Collecting and analyzing operational data, maintaining logs, and standardizing reporting processes
- Managing plant chemistry through routine testing, evaluation, and corrective actions
- Performing electrical and mechanical inspections, troubleshooting, and outage planning
- Overseeing instrumentation and control systems to spot abnormal conditions and take immediate corrective action
- Writing and updating standard operating procedures for both operations and maintenance
- Assigning work, monitoring quality, and developing your team of operations technicians
- Assisting with annual O&M budgets, recruiting, and employee development
- Interacting with equipment and service vendors to secure the best support
- Maximizing plant efficiency and shareholder value—without ever compromising safety, compliance, or long-term viability
- Managing a rotating shift schedule, including scheduled and unscheduled overtime

**What You Bring**
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in power plant operations and maintenance
- Proven ability to lead a team across multiple sites and shifts
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
- A track record of building safety-first cultures and enforcing compliance
- Budget management and vendor negotiation experience
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Maryland

**Compensation & Location**
- **Salary:** $125,000 – $160,000 per year
- **Location:** Lakewood, New Jersey (with travel to Rising Sun, MD)
