**Your Mission:**
As a Paralegal, you will provide substantive legal support through every phase of litigation and administrative proceedings. You’ll ensure attorneys can focus on strategy by owning the details—from drafting key documents to managing critical deadlines. Your work will be pivotal in maintaining the firm’s high standards for accuracy, organization, and client service.
**What You’ll Do:**
- **Drive litigation support** by assisting attorneys through all phases of cases, including drafting, revising, and formatting legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
- **Prepare for key proceedings**—assemble and organize exhibits and documents for hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
- **Manage filings** with various courts and agencies such as OAH, PERB, and EEOC.
- **Oversee case documentation** by maintaining organized client files, managing document production, and proofreading materials for compliance and accuracy.
- **Utilize legal technology**, including document management systems like iManage and e-discovery tools.
- **Coordinate schedules and logistics**: manage attorney calendars, track deadlines, schedule meetings, and arrange travel.
- **Act as a central liaison** between clients, agencies, and internal teams while upholding strict confidentiality.
**You Bring:**
- A high school diploma (bachelor’s degree strongly preferred) and meet California Business & Professions Code § 6450 requirements.
- 3–5 years of recent paralegal or litigation legal assistant experience; prior litigation legal secretary experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with e-discovery and case management platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A detail-oriented, proactive approach suited for a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a commitment to maintaining the highest level of discretion.
**Compensation & Location:**
This full-time role is based in Sacramento, California, with a competitive annual salary range of **$85,000 – $100,000**, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
