**What You’ll Do**
You’ll take full ownership of this small but critical site. That means you’re the go-to for everything from daily operations to long-term improvements. Your days will be a mix of hands-on leadership and strategic oversight:
- Lead by example on safety—championing high standards and making sure every team member goes home whole. PSM experience? That’s your superpower here.
- Manage the flow: scheduling, inventory, shipping, and receiving. You’ll keep things moving while staying sharp on DOT and TCEQ regulations.
- Coach and develop your team. You’re not just a boss; you’re the person who helps hourly staff grow, solve problems, and take pride in their work.
- Report to a regional manager (minimal travel—think quarterly check-ins), and drive performance that hits—and stretches—bonus targets.
**What You Bring**
- 6+ years of experience, with a solid leadership background. You’ve managed people before, and you know how to earn respect, not just demand it.
- Chemical industry roots—ideally chemical distribution or a closely related field. You understand the nuances of handling, storing, and moving these products.
- PSM know-how is a huge plus. If you’ve navigated process safety management, you’ll hit the ground running.
- A working knowledge of DOT and TCEQ regulations. Compliance isn’t a checkbox for you; it’s part of how you operate.
- A preference for being on the floor, not stuck in an office. You lead from the front.
