Industrial Engineer
📍 El Reno, Oklahoma
đź’° $75,000 - $90,000
🏢 Full Time
**About This Opportunity**
This isn’t just another manufacturing role. It’s a chance to step into a plant that’s hungry for real change—and to be the person who makes it happen. Based in El Reno, Oklahoma, you’ll join a site that’s ready to move from good to best-in-class, and they’re looking for an Industrial Engineer who can lead that transformation with both strategy and sweat equity. If you’ve ever wanted to own a continuous improvement culture from the floor up, this is your shot.
**What You’ll Do**
You will lead the charge in identifying what’s slowing down product flow—then tear into those bottlenecks with lean tools that actually work. You’ll manage a team of IE operators and technicians, not just by assigning tasks, but by developing their capability and pushing them to think bigger. Your days will be a mix of hands-on problem solving and strategic planning, from the factory floor to the leadership table.
- Drive site-wide lean activities: 5S, standard work, visual management, pace to takt, value stream mapping, Kaizen, and 8D. You’ll be the person who turns waste into flow and chaos into rhythm.
- Act as a proactive change agent—coaching facility leads, supervisors, and managers to build a continuous improvement culture that sticks.
- Standardize and optimize manufacturing processes, sequences, layouts, and flow. If it’s inefficient, you’ll redesign it.
- Track and lead improvement projects across both manufacturing and office areas, from concept to savings realization.
- Own equipment capital expenditures: design, vendor selection, procurement, and implementation. You’ll decide what gets bought and how it gets used.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Site Leadership Team to build a continuous improvement roadmap that drives best-in-class performance.
- Create and enhance capacity models, production planning tools, and time standards—because good decisions start with good data.
**What You Bring**
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (non-negotiable) and at least 5 years of hands-on IE experience. You’ve collected industrial services data, run root cause analyses, and solved problems that others walked past. You know lean principles not as theory, but as a daily practice. You communicate clearly—whether you’re presenting to leadership or teaching an operator a new standard work sheet. And you’re self-motivated enough to shift priorities on a dime when the fire drill hits.
**Compensation**
$75,000 – $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
