Associate Attorney - Antitrust

📍 New York, New York 💰 $260,000 - $365,000 🏢 Full Time
**About This Opportunity**
This isn’t just another antitrust role—it’s your chance to step into a powerhouse global firm with over a century of precedent-shaping work. You’ll join a tight-knit, growing practice that defends companies in high-stakes civil conduct investigations, clears (or blocks) complex mergers, and litigates Section 1, Section 2, and Section 7 cases across federal courts. If you’ve got 3–5 years of experience and a hunger to work alongside DOJ, FTC, FCC, and state AGs, this hybrid role in New York or D.C. is built for you.

**What You’ll Do**
You won’t be a background player. You’ll dive into the thick of it: drafting substantive motions and briefs, analyzing merger and joint venture structures, and preparing witnesses for depositions and interviews. Your work will span civil conduct investigations, criminal antitrust issues, and general compliance counseling on product pricing and distribution. If you’ve got a background in telecom or internet law, that’s a serious plus—but not a must.

**What You Bring**
- A JD from a top 50 law school, with an active bar membership in New York or D.C. (depending on your office).
- 3–5 years of antitrust experience—either at the DOJ Antitrust Division, the FTC, a state AG antitrust bureau, or a law firm handling DOJ/FTC matters and civil antitrust litigation.
- A track record of insightful research, sharp analysis, and persuasive writing that makes judges and regulators take notice.
- Prior experience at an AmLaw 200 firm.
- Comfort with depositions, witness prep, and the fast pace of multi-front litigation.

**Why This Role?**
Compensation is competitive: $260,000–$365,000 per year, plus bonus. But the real draw is the mentorship and training you’ll receive in a professional environment that values growth. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, dependent care, health care flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with profit-sharing, holidays, paid time off, and a robust wellness program.
