**Shape the Future of Luxury Living: Director of Sales**
**About This Opportunity:**
You’re not just a sales leader; you’re a builder of teams and a driver of growth. Here’s your chance to put your deep industry knowledge to work for a established, respected leader in custom cabinetry and design. With over two decades of excellence in the Carolinas, this company is poised for strategic expansion, and they need a visionary Director of Sales to lead the charge. This is a hands-on, in-person leadership role where you’ll shape strategy, mentor talent, and directly impact the company's trajectory. If you thrive on coaching, process, and performance, this is your platform.
**Your Mission:**
You will be the driving force behind our sales engine, working closely with a team of talented designers and representatives. Your primary focus will be cultivating organic growth within our existing client base while aggressively pursuing new business opportunities. You’ll be the strategist, the coach, and the motivator, ensuring every team member has the tools and direction to succeed.
**A Day in Your Role:**
You will provide regular, hands-on coaching and training to a team of five, fostering their professional growth and enhancing their sales skills and strategy. Building a positive, high-performance culture is paramount, which means you’ll mentor consistently, address under-performance proactively, and hold daily and weekly accountability check-ins.
Your strategic mind will be tasked with developing and executing plans to hit targets at every level—company, department, and individual. You’ll establish clear KPIs, monitor progress relentlessly, and ensure every project in the pipeline has a realistic Plan of Action (POA).
On the operational side, you’ll own the process. This includes managing lead generation software and assignment, optimizing schedules and territories, and expertly matching clients with the right sales staff. You’ll also handle the nuts and bolts: managing commission structures, bonuses, and sales-related expenses.
**You Bring:**
* A minimum of 10 years in sales, with at least 4-5 years specifically managing a sales team.
* Deep, proven knowledge of the cabinetry industry, with experience selling high-end kitchen and bathroom cabinetry and managing big-ticket purchases.
* A results-driven mindset with a track record of growing teams through new business development and organic lead generation.
* Strong expertise in pipeline management, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills—you follow through and resolve issues with grace.
* A 4-year college degree.
* The willingness to travel as needed and work primarily from our Raleigh, NC office.
