**Your Role in Action**
You’ll be the go-to person for everything HR—from benefits and payroll to recruiting and compliance. But you won’t be stuck in a silo. You’ll also flex into cross-functional support, helping with purchasing docs, production planning, or even import/export coordination when the team needs you. No two days will look the same.
**What You’ll Own**
- **Benefits & Payroll:** You’ll coordinate medical, dental, and other benefit programs—handling enrollment, employee questions, and annual renewals. You’ll also partner with the Controller to process payroll, review timekeeping data, and prepare reports for leadership.
- **Compliance & Policy:** Keep our HR policies sharp and up-to-date. Support EEOC, Affirmative Action, and workforce reporting. Help with ESG data collection and maintain job descriptions, pay ranges, and compensation docs.
- **Recruitment:** From posting jobs and screening candidates to scheduling interviews and managing background checks, you’ll guide the hiring process from start to finish. You’ll also work with leadership to craft and coordinate employment offers.
- **Safety & Performance:** In a regulated manufacturing environment, you’ll assist with health, safety, and compliance documentation. Plus, you’ll support the annual performance review cycle, helping leaders keep things consistent and fair.
**What You Bring**
- 3+ years of HR operations experience (manufacturing or industrial settings are a big plus)
- A solid grasp of federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Confidence handling payroll, benefits administration, and recruiting coordination
- The ability to pivot between strategic HR tasks and hands-on operational support
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit—you’ll work closely with leadership and be a trusted resource for employees
