đź’° $100,000 - $170,000
🏢 Full Time
**About This Opportunity**
At KnowHireMatch.com, we’re looking for an Electrical Engineer (Digital Design) who wants to make a tangible impact on next-generation radio and communication systems. This isn’t just another board design role—you’ll be the bridge between concept and reality, working hands-on with cross-functional teams to bring cutting-edge products from prototype to production. If you thrive on solving complex technical puzzles and seeing your designs come to life in the field, this is your chance.
**Your Mission**
You’ll report directly to a Senior Engineering Manager and own the digital circuit design process for radios and associated equipment. Your day-to-day will blend deep technical work with collaboration, from high-level architecture to the nitty-gritty of schematic capture and layout analysis. You’ll make design decisions, assess technical risks, and ensure your boards perform flawlessly in real-world conditions.
**What You’ll Do**
- Support digital and analog hardware research, design, and development of circuit board assemblies
- Translate high-level use cases and product descriptions into detailed requirements
- Own the full digital PCB design cycle: requirement analysis, high-level design, schematic capture, and layout analysis
- Perform simulation and analysis, including digital signal integrity
- Integrate your designs with other subsystems and run system-level verification and validation testing
- Identify, track, and repair hardware defects—you’ll own the fix from discovery to resolution
**What You Bring**
- **Education & Experience:**
- Bachelor’s degree + 4+ years of relevant experience, OR
- Graduate degree + 2+ years of relevant experience, OR
- 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
- **Technical Skills:**
- Deep experience with digital hardware PCB design
- Ability to perform signal integrity analysis and make trade-off decisions
- Familiarity with automation tools like Python or LabVIEW (preferred)
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC design and test techniques (MIL-STD-461)
- Understanding of environmental test methods (MIL-STD-810)
- Basic grasp of RF circuits and architectures (preferred)
- **Clearance:** Ability to obtain a US security clearance (US citizenship required)
**Why This Role?**
You’ll work on products that matter—radios and equipment used in mission-critical environments. The compensation reflects the impact: **$100,000–$170,000 per year**, plus benefits. And you’ll be part of a team that values your judgment, not just your output.
