**About This Opportunity**

**The Role**
As our Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll own the day-to-day health of process equipment and infrastructure. You’ll split your time between planned preventative maintenance and urgent troubleshooting—keeping both fixed and rotating equipment running safely and efficiently. Expect to:

- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on pumps, agitators, compressors, and other rotating equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair fixed equipment like reactors, heat exchangers, and piping systems
- Handle light pipefitting work—repairs, modifications, and small installations
- Support equipment modifications that improve reliability or throughput
- Work closely with the plant manager (your direct report) to prioritize tasks and flag improvement opportunities

This plant runs 24/7, but your schedule will be primarily daytime hours. You’ll be the go-to person for keeping production moving, and your expertise will be valued from day one.

**What You Bring**
You’ve spent at least 5 years in a chemical manufacturing environment, and you know the stakes. You’re comfortable with:

- Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) procedures—this is non-negotiable
- Diagnosing and repairing both fixed and rotating equipment
- Pipefitting experience (even if it’s not your main focus)
- Reading P&IDs and understanding process flow
- Working independently and making smart calls under pressure
