**What You’ll Do**

You’ll draft, revise, and format complex legal documents—from correspondence and memoranda to full-blown litigation briefs—working from written drafts or transcription. You’ll manage the entire lifecycle of a case, from the initial filing through trial, including e-filings in state and federal courts and administrative agencies. You’ll prepare and organize exhibits for hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions, ensuring nothing is missing when it matters most.

You’ll create and update Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities, and you’ll proofread every document with a sharp eye for grammar, formatting, and firm standards. You’ll own the attorney calendar—tracking critical deadlines, scheduling court dates, appointments, and meetings, and keeping the master calendar in sync. You’ll also handle new client and matter intakes, process incoming mail and emails, and use legal software and transcription equipment to keep everything moving efficiently.

Beyond the core duties, you’ll coordinate travel arrangements—lodging, airfare, ground transportation—and assist with marketing materials like pitch folders, attorney bios, and PowerPoint presentations. You’ll provide backup support to other attorneys and staff as needed, and you’ll always maintain strict confidentiality of firm, client, and personnel information.

**What You Bring**

- **5+ years** of litigation legal secretary experience (this is non-negotiable)
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with document management systems like iManage is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills—you can juggle multiple attorneys and competing priorities without missing a beat
- Professional communication skills, whether in person, on the phone, or in writing
- Ability to operate standard office equipment (computers, transcription devices, fax machines, advanced copiers)
- Reliable attendance and punctuality—this role requires **regular on-site attendance** (not hybrid or remote)
