**Craft Precision. Build What Matters.**
**About This Opportunity:**
You’re not just running machines—you’re bringing complex designs to life. We’re a stable, growing manufacturer in La Vista, and we need a skilled Precision Machinist Operator who takes pride in the craft. This is a hands-on, first-shift role where you’ll be essential in producing high-quality custom components for a variety of industries. If you thrive on accuracy, enjoy solving technical challenges, and want to see your work directly impact real products, let’s talk.
**You will:**

- Interpret detailed blueprints, sketches, and specifications, calculating speeds, feeds, threading, and tolerances to meet exact customer requirements.
- Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to inspect your own work, ensuring every part meets strict quality standards.
- Troubleshoot issues on the fly, make adjustments, build fixtures, and verify parts throughout the production process.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors, clearly communicating any discrepancies or opportunities for process improvement.
- Uphold a safe, organized work environment by following all safety protocols and 5S practices.
**You bring:**
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience setting up and running both CNC and conventional machines (mills and lathes).
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and applying solid math skills (geometry, trigonometry) to your work.
- A quality-driven mindset and an eye for detail—you don’t just make parts; you make them right.
- The ability to problem-solve independently and the initiative to suggest improvements.
- Physical stamina for a manufacturing environment: standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and working around noise and vibration.
- Formal training such as an associate degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on experience. A combination of education and 5+ years of setup experience is ideal.

This is a full-time, first-shift, on-site position in La Vista, Nebraska. We offer a competitive hourly rate of **$27–$32 per hour**, commensurate with your experience, along with direct-hire stability and benefits.
