**Your Mission: Precision, Safety, Leadership**
You will be the technical authority for our Radiation Oncology department, entrusted with the critical responsibility of protecting patients and staff while ensuring the absolute accuracy of every treatment. This is a hands-on role where your deep knowledge directly shapes patient outcomes and elevates our standard of care.
Your core responsibilities will include:
* Creating, implementing, and monitoring all procedures for radiation treatment, serving as our lead for quality assurance and compliance with AAPM, ASTRO, ACR, and ACRO guidelines.
* Calibrating all radiation therapy equipment and conducting performance surveys to ensure every machine operates at its absolute peak.
* Collaborating directly with radiation oncologists to design sophisticated treatment plans, with required experience in SBRT, SRS, and HDR.
* Leading the development of new therapeutic techniques and technologies, contributing to research, and mentoring staff to foster a culture of excellence.
* Providing strategic analysis and direction to department leadership, ensuring our equipment and protocols not only meet but exceed the highest standards.
**What You Bring**
* A Master’s Degree in Medical Physics.
* Certification by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Physics.
* A minimum of five years of clinical experience operating a range of radiation therapy equipment.
* Hands-on experience with Varian equipment (TrueBeam, Aria, Eclipse) is strongly preferred.
* A meticulous, patient-centered approach and the ability to communicate complex physics principles clearly to clinical teams.
