Senior Design Professional - Corporate Interiors
📍 Manhattan, New York
đź’° $120,000 - $160,000
🏢 Full Time
**About This Opportunity**
This isn’t just another design role—it’s your chance to shape the future of corporate interiors with a firm that’s won awards for thinking differently. Based in Manhattan (with a hybrid schedule that respects your time), you’ll lead projects that span local to international, working with clients who value bold ideas as much as flawless execution. If you’re a senior-level designer who thrives on collaboration, owns your craft, and wants to leave a mark on the workplace landscape, this is where you belong.
**What You’ll Do**
You’ll own the design process from concept to completion, starting with client conversations that uncover their real needs. You’ll develop program requirements, space standards, and test-fits that balance function with vision. Your days will mix strategic thinking with hands-on creativity:
- Lead the design team through schematic planning, code analysis, and budget documentation.
- Create 3D concepts that pop—think lighting, FF&E, and renderings in Enscape and AI-driven tools.
- Select furniture, finishes, and accessories, then guide clients through showroom tours and bid analysis.
- Coordinate with consultants and project teams to ensure design intent carries through to construction documents and millwork details.
- Review engineering docs, shop drawings, and submittals to keep everything aligned.
- Visit project sites during construction to solve problems before they become problems.
- Step into business presentations and help script the story of each design.
**What You Bring**
You’ve got at least 8 years of continuous experience in corporate, commercial, or workplace interiors—and you’re ready to bring that entrepreneurial spark to every project. Your technical toolkit is sharp:
- Expert in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Skilled in Enscape and AI-driven rendering for photo-realistic visuals.
- Deep knowledge of systems and ancillary furniture specification.
- Solid grasp of schematic design, design development, and contract documents.
But it’s not just about software. You’re a communicator who can read a room, a problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments, and a detail-obsessed leader who never loses sight of the big picture.
**Compensation & Perks**
$120,000 – $160,000 per year, plus the chance to work on projects that redefine how people experience their workplaces. Hybrid schedule in Manhattan—flexibility without losing connection.
