You’re not just running machines; you’re the critical link between a blueprint and a perfect part. In this hands-on role on our 2nd shift, you’ll tackle unique setups and complex fabrications for a diverse range of customers. If you take pride in the craft of manual machining and thrive on solving problems to exacting standards, this is your chance to be a cornerstone of our production floor. We offer a competitive wage of **$25-30/hour** for your expertise.

**You will be the expert we rely on to:**
* Interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and manuals to determine the sequence of operations and setup requirements for mills, lathes, and drill presses.
* Select tools, secure fixtures, and calculate machining factors like speed and feed to ensure flawless execution.
* Set up and operate manual and special purpose machines, fabricating parts from various materials with a keen eye for detail.
* Conduct trial runs, verify conformance to specifications, and make precise adjustments to achieve out-of-tolerance machining.
* Assemble components into finished products, verifying every dimension and alignment.
* Build custom fixtures for drilling, milling, and turning operations.
* Serve as a final quality checkpoint, ensuring all engineering and manufacturing inputs meet customer expectations, and communicating any necessary corrections.

**You bring the following skills and experience:**
* An Associate’s degree, completed apprenticeship in Machine/Tool and Die Technology, or equivalent hands-on mastery.
* **3+ years of experience** in a manufacturing or job shop environment with a strong machining foundation.
* Proven ability to set up and operate manual equipment (CNC experience is a plus).
* Experience working within a quality-focused environment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the initiative to collaborate with engineers and production personnel to resolve challenges.
