🏢 Full Time
**About This Opportunity**
You are a meticulous architect of certainty in a world of complex silicon. Your craft is building the rigorous, intelligent test environments that prove an FPGA or ASIC will perform flawlessly in the field. We are a leader in secure embedded communication systems, and we need your expertise to verify the next generation of hardware that protects critical data. This is a hands-on role where your verification frameworks will directly validate designs destined for real-world, high-assurance applications.
**Your Mission**
You will be the cornerstone of our verification efforts. Your primary focus will be the verification and validation of FPGA designs for embedded electronic communication systems. You’ll develop high-level and detailed verification test plans directly from system requirements. Using System Verilog, you will architect sophisticated, self-checking test benches to put our designs through their paces.
A typical week will see you:
* Developing Agents, Test Sequences, Cover Groups, Predictors, and Scoreboards to build a comprehensive verification environment.
* Creating both randomized and directed tests to achieve functional coverage closure, providing clear feedback to the design team.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and verify product requirements from conception through implementation.
* Preparing and presenting design reviews, offering technical briefings to both internal teams and external customers.
This role is based onsite in Columbia, Maryland, and requires U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
**What You Bring**
* A Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, a Graduate degree with 4+ years, or 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
