**Your Role: Physician Medical Director**

As our Medical Director, you will be the clinical cornerstone of our wellness clinic. You’ll provide compassionate, comprehensive primary care with a focus on infectious disease management, leading a dedicated team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes. This is a hands-on clinical leadership position where you will see a panel of patients while ensuring the highest standards of care across the facility.

You will bring your Infectious Disease expertise to a broad outpatient practice. Your core responsibilities include delivering primary care for chronic conditions like hypertension, diabetes, and COPD, as well as diagnosing and managing acute issues including infections, HIV, STIs, and respiratory illnesses. While HIV care is a significant component, your practice will be diverse and not limited to a single condition.

A typical 8-hour shift involves managing a panel of approximately 14-18 patients. You will oversee patient scheduling to optimize continuity and meet productivity goals, and complete all visit documentation promptly, ensuring accurate E&M coding. Collaboration is key; you’ll work seamlessly with front desk staff, care coordinators, and nursing teams to manage walk-ins and urgent care needs, fostering a truly integrated care environment.

**What You Bring**

* An active Texas MD/DO license, valid DEA & Furnishing licenses.
* Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, with 2+ years of post-residency Infectious Disease physician work experience.
* Current CPR/BLS certification.
* A commitment to obtain AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of hire.
* Proven experience diagnosing and treating patients in an outpatient primary care setting.
* A collaborative spirit and a passion for community-focused care.

* **Total Compensation Range: $314,000 - $464,000 per year.** This includes a competitive base salary, a signing bonus, quarterly and retention bonuses, and bi-weekly productivity bonuses based on patient visits (typically 15-20 per day).
