## About This Opportunity

This isn't just another design role. It's a chance to step into the center of Orlando's most exciting structural projects—where your technical expertise meets real client relationships, and where your ambition shapes the future of a growing firm. If you're tired of being just another engineer in the background, this is your moment to lead, build, and grow with purpose.

## What You'll Do

You'll wear two hats—engineer and entrepreneur—and you'll love the balance. As a **Seller/Doer**, you'll own the full lifecycle of building projects, from complex renovations to new facilities spanning over 800,000 square feet.

- **Be the client's trusted partner.** You'll serve as the primary point of contact, building relationships that go beyond the contract. They'll come to you for solutions, not just drawings.
- **Lead from concept to closeout.** You'll manage scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and delivery across all phases. No task is too small, no detail too fine.
- **Guide internal teams and coordinate across disciplines.** You'll ensure quality, creativity, and technical soundness in every structural solution you deliver.
- **Solve the hard problems.** When a structural challenge seems impossible, you'll bring creative, cost-effective answers that make the project work.
- **Grow the business.** You'll actively identify and pursue new opportunities in Central Florida, represent the firm at industry events, and influence strategic direction. This role has real potential to grow into firmwide leadership.

---

## What You Bring

- **A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering** (Master's in Structural Engineering preferred)
- **8+ years of structural building design experience**, including client and team leadership
- **A Florida PE license** (required)
- **Proficiency with Revit** and structural software like RAM, RISA, EnerCalc, and Adapt
- **A strong grasp of building codes**, material standards, and modern construction practices
- **Business development experience** and a background in project/client management (strong plus)
- **Active involvement** in professional societies like ASCE, SEAoF, or ACI is encouraged

---

## Why You'll Love This Role

You'll have real autonomy to lead projects and client relationships from concept through completion. You'll work with a nimble, focused team on unique structural systems and challenging project types. And you'll have the chance to shape the direction of a firm that's intentionally growing—with your career right alongside it.

If you're technically sharp, client-focused, and ready to take the lead, this is your opportunity to build something bigger.
