**Your Role: Jr. Mechanical Design Engineer**

You will be the key support for developing and refining mechanical and electromechanical designs for custom applications. Your day-to-day will be a dynamic mix of 3D modeling, prototyping, analysis, and manufacturing support. You’ll work closely with a seasoned engineering team, taking concepts and turning them into detailed, reliable designs ready for production.

Your core responsibilities will include:
* Developing detailed designs using SolidWorks, from 3D models to production-ready drawings.
* Performing simulations and analyses (stress, fatigue, durability) to validate your designs.
* Managing engineering changes, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and material selections within our large-scale ERP system.
* Supporting design reviews, risk evaluations, and verification/validation testing.
* Ensuring designs meet applicable standards and codes, while contributing to our core quality and safety initiatives.

**What You Bring**

* A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* 1+ years of stable experience in a manufacturing environment (or a strong new grad portfolio with relevant project/coursework).
* Foundational experience or academic training in mechanical system design, modeling, and validation.
* Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential.
* Familiarity with design reviews, BOM management, and working within large ERP systems.
* A practical, hands-on mindset and a collaborative spirit.
* The ability to work an early morning/day shift schedule, with the flexibility for potential remote work one day per week.

**Location & Compensation**

This is an on-site position based in our La Vista, Nebraska facility. We offer a competitive salary of **$55,000 - $68,000 per year** (commensurate with experience), plus bonus potential.
