**Your Mission:**

You will plan and direct the full accounting and finance function across our legal entities. As a pivotal leader, you’ll work cross-functionally to deliver strong business and financial outcomes. **What You Will Do:**

**Own the Accounting & Financial Narrative:**
You will oversee all accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, inventory, and the general ledger. Managing the timely month-end close is in your hands. You’ll be the architect of our financial story, preparing and analyzing accurate monthly, quarterly, and YTD reports. Your analysis of overhead costs and project job costs will be crucial, as you recommend pricing strategies to boost profitability alongside the President and VP.

**Drive Strategy Through Planning:**
You will partner with the management team to create and maintain our annual budget and quarterly forecasts. Your insights will directly shape our financial roadmap.

**Safeguard Our Resources:**
You’ll manage treasury functions, maintaining banking relationships and developing cash flow forecasts to ensure our entities are properly funded daily. In compliance and risk management, you’ll establish internal controls, manage our insurance and bonding programs, and ensure tax and regulatory compliance in partnership with our external CPA.

**What You Bring:**

* A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of progressive experience.
* Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team.
* Deep, hands-on expertise in general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
* A collaborative spirit and the ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to drive business decisions.
* Experience in the construction industry is a significant advantage.

**Location & Compensation:**

This is an on-site position based in the Columbia, South Carolina metropolitan area. We offer a competitive salary range of **$100,000 - $150,000 per year**, complemented by major company benefits, a 401k with matching, and bonus potential.
