**Your Mission**

You will be the driving force behind growth in the independent retail channel. Your core mission is to hit monthly volume and gross profit targets by balancing the care of existing accounts with the daily hustle of new business development.

Your key responsibilities include:
* Managing and growing a geographic territory through strategic, in-person store visits.
* Prospecting and securing new retail accounts daily—your hunt never stops.
* Building and executing efficient account plans and territory routing to maximize your time in the field.
* Selling a broad mix of perishable products, including fresh poultry, meats, deli, prepared foods, and related items.
* Skillfully managing pricing within guidelines to protect gross profit.
* Acting as a swift problem-solver for customers, handling issues from availability to delivery coordination.
* Tracking your performance using sales data and running disciplined weekly call plans.

You’ll be the trusted partner to a variety of local businesses, including independent grocers (single-store and small groups), small regional chains, meat markets, butcher shops, and specialty neighborhood retailers.

**What You Bring**

* A proven track record of 5+ years in B2B sales, with experience in food distribution or retail perishables strongly preferred.
* The confidence and skill to build relationships with owners, general managers, meat managers, and deli managers.
* Exceptional communication, relentless follow-through, and the discipline to manage your route and time effectively.
* A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

**Compensation & Benefits**

We believe in rewarding performance. Your earnings will include a negotiated base salary during your proficiency period, transitioning to a 100% uncapped commission structure. You’ll be supported with a $750 monthly car allowance, a company gas card, and an $80 monthly cell phone allowance. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and Paid Time Off (PTO).
