**What You’ll Do**
You will tackle the most complex process challenges, from troubleshooting day-to-day operations to designing the future of our facilities. Your days will be a dynamic mix of deep technical work and leadership. You’ll develop and review comprehensive process design packages—including PFDs, P&IDs, and control narratives—for new and unique projects. A key part of your role will be guiding and supporting junior engineers, enhancing the team’s overall technical capability.
Your expertise will be vital in ensuring safety and efficiency. You’ll engage in PHA and HAZOP sessions with Safety and Environmental teams to identify and mitigate risks. You’ll also analyze process designs, material balances, and equipment specifications, acting as the subject matter expert for both continuous and batch processes.
Collaboration is central. You’ll partner with Operations, Maintenance, and R&D to troubleshoot complex issues and develop practical solutions. You’ll continuously expand your knowledge of multiple processes, integrating new ideas and the latest technological advancements into designs that balance innovation with cost and functionality. You’ll have the platform to present and advocate for these new ideas directly to senior management.
**You Bring...**
* A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in chemical process engineering.
* A proven track record of developing process design packages (heat/material balances, PFDs, P&IDs, control narratives).
* Strong experience in equipment sizing, material selection, and evaluating control strategies.
* Hands-on participation in PHAs/HAZOPs and a steadfast commitment to process safety.
* The ability to troubleshoot complex process design issues and develop effective, practical solutions.
* Experience leading multidiscipline engineering groups or large projects to successful completion.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments and articulate technical concepts to all levels of leadership.
* A mindset of continuous improvement, always seeking to integrate new technologies and improve existing standards and procedures.
**Compensation & Location**
