As our O&M Technician in Lakewood, New Jersey, you’ll be the person who keeps everything running safely, efficiently, and reliably. You’ll work a rotating shift schedule, solve problems on your feet, and collaborate with a team that values your judgment as much as your tools.

**What You’ll Do**
You’ll be accountable for the safe operation of plant equipment, from boiler water chemistry to daily monitoring and maintenance across the entire facility. Your hands will be on both preventive and corrective work—diagnosing mechanical systems, conducting inspections, and making repairs that keep everything within specific parameters. You’ll operate equipment like plow trucks, cranes, forklifts, lawn maintenance gear, snow blowers, and aerial lifts. And when things get complex, you’ll lead and direct contractors on-site, supporting the O&M Manager during outages and breakdowns.

You’ll also:
- Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track maintenance, inventory, and equipment history.
- Maintain storeroom inventory, ship and receive parts, and ensure materials are ready when needed.
- Operate the facility independently, using the PI Process Book data historian to troubleshoot systems and gather performance data.
- Understand and comply with all Environmental, Health, Safety, and NERC Standards—every day.

**What You Bring**
You have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role, and you’re comfortable working a rotating shift. You bring a high-performance, high-discipline mindset—safe, accountable, focused, and innovative. You’re the kind of person who makes decisions based on good judgment and operational data, not guesswork. You can diagnose mechanical systems and equipment problems quickly, and you’re proficient in both operational and electrical activities. You’re also comfortable working with minimal guidance, because you know the facility inside and out.
