**What You’ll Do**
You’ll be the go-to engineer for developing specifications, preparing store orders, and estimating project costs. You’ll work closely with drafting personnel on field revisions and minor engineering changes, and you’ll be the person others turn to when problems need investigating or performance data needs gathering.

You’ll also:
- Use your computer skills to manipulate data, make calculations, and build graphic presentations for reports.
- Support project management for both maintenance and capital projects, attending conferences with engineers and other departments to develop overall plans.
- Evaluate vendor proposals, check prints for specification compliance, and recommend equipment and service purchases.
- Visit job sites to gather information and troubleshoot issues directly with engineering and maintenance teams.
- Prepare sketches, drawings, and schematic diagrams as needed to keep unit functions running smoothly.

**What You Bring**
You have 5+ years of chemical engineering experience and a solid grasp of engineering theory, mathematics, and physical sciences. You’re comfortable working under supervision on structured projects, but you also know how to take initiative when investigating problems or gathering data. You build relationships easily—whether you’re collaborating cross-functionally or presenting your work to stakeholders.

You’re skilled at:
- Gathering and correlating engineering data using established procedures, including diagnostic testing of components and systems.
- Tackling smaller projects or well-defined pieces of larger ones, delivering technically sound, cost-effective designs.
- Using existing procedures to solve ongoing problems while developing new competencies in your field.
