**Your Mission:**
You will dive deep into data, crafting innovative implementation plans that maximize efficiency and reduce operating costs. Leading a small team, you’ll own medium-to-large-scale projects or a critical portion of a more complex initiative. Your day-to-day will blend technical design with hands-on leadership, ensuring every project meets its mark on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
**What You’ll Do:**
- Develop engineering designs, material specifications, and project cost estimates, conducting feasibility studies to support your vision.
- Ensure all designs meet required standards and codes, validating field work and creating precise as-built drawings.
- Coordinate project activities with vendors, contractors, and plant teams to keep projects on track, while reviewing engineering submissions for accuracy and compliance.
- Direct vendors on layout planning and utility requirements, and review consultant work, suggesting changes as needed.
- From defining project scope and evaluating bids to monitoring installations, you’ll ensure every phase aligns with specs, budget, and timeline.
- Manage project budgets with an eye for detail and submit regular status reports to keep stakeholders informed.
**You Bring:**
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field, plus 5+ years of experience (or an equivalent combination).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to guide production line modifications from concept to execution.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and techniques; experience in food processing or the meat industry is a plus.
- The skill to apply sound engineering principles to operational and design issues, along with knowledge of installation and construction project scheduling.
- Proven project management and contract administration skills—you’re organized, decisive, and a clear communicator.
**Compensation & Details:**
