## What You’ll Do

You’ll take the lead on case management from inception through trial, settlement, and beyond. That means drafting, reviewing, and cite-checking legal documents and briefs with precision. You’ll manage both hard-copy and electronic case files—keeping discovery logs, indices, and document databases organized and accessible.

You’ll assist with document review and become proficient in eDiscovery platforms like Relativity and iPro. You’ll prepare and manage document productions, including key-term searches and production sets. Deposition and hearing prep? That’s yours too—gathering exhibits, preparing witness materials, and making sure nothing slips.

Your day-to-day will also include:
- Bates stamping, preparing spreadsheets and electronic media, hyperlinking PDFs, reviewing dockets, and calendaring deadlines
- Drafting and coordinating service of subpoenas, and obtaining case-related documents from third parties
- Coordinating with litigation support vendors and internal teams
- Monitoring pending decisions, conducting legal research, and assisting attorneys with case analysis

You’ll maintain accurate daily billable time entries and meet annual billable hour expectations. You’ll also work with Litigation Support teams on database management using Relativity and related systems. Reliable attendance is key—whether you’re onsite or remote—and you’ll need to be available for overtime and travel as needed. Above all, you’ll deliver excellent internal and external customer service while staying professional under pressure.

## What You Bring

You’re eligible to work and bill as a paralegal under California Business & Professions Code § 6450. You hold a Bachelor’s degree or a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved institution. You have at least five years of paralegal experience in a California law firm or in-house legal department.

You communicate clearly—both in writing and verbally. You’re proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365, and you’ve worked with eDiscovery platforms (like iPro or similar) and Adobe Acrobat Pro. You know your way around Westlaw and/or Lexis.
