Maintenance Reliability Manager

📍 Charlotte, North Carolina 💰 $130,000 - $155,000 🏢 Full Time
**Build a World-Class Reliability Program from the Ground Up**

**About This Opportunity:** Imagine having a blank canvas and the full support to design a best-in-class maintenance and reliability operation. That’s the unique proposition of this role. We’re seeking a foundational leader to join a premier company as they launch a new, state-of-the-art chemical manufacturing facility near Charlotte, NC. This is your chance to architect the entire asset care strategy, influence culture from day one, and leave a permanent imprint on a growing site. If you’re energized by building rather than just maintaining, this is your career-defining project.

**Your Mission:**

You will be the architect of the site’s reliability future. In the first year, you’ll immerse yourself in the startup phase: traveling to a sister plant to master the processes, designing and implementing an ISO 55000-aligned reliability program from scratch, developing training, and setting all maintenance procedures. You’ll ensure PSM Mechanical Integrity compliance is baked into the foundation from the start.

Once operational, you’ll transition into leading the ongoing charge for exceptional equipment uptime, safety, and cost-effectiveness. You will partner directly with plant leadership to drive continuous improvement, lead root cause analyses, and foster a proactive reliability culture. A key part of your success will be developing and mentoring a high-performing team of 10-15 technicians and specialists.

**You Bring:**

* A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent, significant experience in lieu of a degree).
* At least 7 years of hands-on experience leading maintenance and reliability initiatives within a chemical batch or closely related manufacturing environment.
* A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role, with a proven track record of building, training, and sustaining effective teams.
* The strategic mindset to build programs and the practical drive to execute them.
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit to partner across all levels of the new organization.

**What You’ll Receive:**

This direct-hire role offers a competitive salary of **$130,000 - $155,000 per year**, commensurate with your experience. You’ll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and tuition reimbursement. Relocation assistance to the vibrant Charlotte area is also available.

This isn't just another maintenance manager job. It's a legacy-building opportunity. Ready to build something remarkable?
