We’re looking for a Project Superintendent to step into a high-impact field leadership role on FDOT bridge and heavy highway projects in the Saint Petersburg / Tampa Bay market. This isn’t a generic seat. It’s for someone who knows how to coordinate foremen, subcontractors, inspectors, engineers, and owners without losing control of production. **What You’ll Be Leading**
You’ll manage and coordinate all field operations on FDOT heavy/highway/bridge projects. That means you own production, schedule, subcontractors, safety, client coordination, and field execution. Day to day, you will:

- Manage and schedule foremen, field crews, and subcontractors
- Lead daily field execution across bridge and heavy highway construction activities
- Establish production goals and hold your project teams accountable to them
- Coordinate with project management, engineers, inspectors, suppliers, and owners
- Maintain positive working relationships with clients, consultants, inspectors, and public stakeholders
- Review project performance and recommend corrective action when schedule, cost, or production issues arise
- Manage construction activities in accordance with contract documents, drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and environmental regulations
- Assist estimators and engineers with quantities, production tracking, and field input
- Coach, supervise, and train foremen and field employees
- Support on-the-job training and safety compliance across all crews

You communicate clearly, protect the schedule, and keep crews safe without micromanaging.
