**Your Mission:**

You will lead a skilled team of Mechanics and Electricians, championing a culture of safety, precision, and proactive care. Your day-to-day will be dynamic, balancing immediate troubleshooting with strategic, long-term improvements to our maintenance systems. You’ll be the driving force behind minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency across our plant, facilities, utilities, and powerhouse.

**What You Will Do:**

* Lead predictive and preventative maintenance programs, as well as urgent machine repairs, ensuring all work meets stringent USDA regulations.
* Collaborate directly with Production teams to schedule maintenance effectively, minimizing disruption while keeping product flows moving.
* Develop and implement robust systems for TPM, SOPs, and safety, creating a foundation for sustained reliability.
* Dive deep into troubleshooting and problem analysis to provide both immediate fixes and permanent solutions for equipment failures.
* Own key performance indicators (KPIs) to track equipment effectiveness, supplier performance, and overall maintenance health, reporting status to management.
* Maintain meticulous records of maintenance work and inventory with accuracy and integrity.
* Most importantly, you will coach, mentor, and develop your team, fostering a positive employee experience and building a crew that takes pride in their essential work.

**You Bring:**

* A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, plus 2+ years of relevant maintenance leadership experience. An equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience will also be considered.
* Proven experience in training, coaching, and mentoring a technical team.
* A solid understanding of preventative/predictive maintenance methodologies and a track record of improving equipment reliability.
* The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, making sound decisions under pressure.
* A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills to partner with cross-functional teams.

**Location & Compensation:**

This role is based at our facility in **Peru, Indiana**. We offer a competitive annual salary of **$80,000 - $100,000**, plus bonus, recognizing the critical impact you will have on our operations.
