**Your Role: Senior Electrical Automation Technician**
Based in Kinston, North Carolina, you will be at the forefront of our automation initiatives. You will secure, maintain, and advance our systems—from initial programming and troubleshooting to strategic upgrades. Your expertise will be crucial in developing long-term solutions that make our processes faster, more reliable, and more efficient.
A key part of your mission involves collaboration. You’ll partner closely with our automation team, IT, management, and engineering to consult on innovative projects and provide invaluable technical insights. You’ll also take pride in elevating the entire team by creating clear training materials and providing hands-on mentorship to maintenance technicians.
**You Will:**
* Decode complex electrical schematics and manuals to troubleshoot cutting-edge equipment.
* Solve software issues for automation and robotics, and tackle hardware challenges with PLCs and touchscreens to minimize downtime.
* Troubleshoot control network issues and collaborate with IT to maintain servers for seamless operations.
* Identify and drive automation improvements that elevate process efficiency and reliability.
* Own the organization and backup of all critical facility electrical and automation documentation and programs.
**You Bring:**
* A minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in electrical controls and industrial automation.
* Deep, practical knowledge of PLC systems, robotics, and industrial networking.
* The ability to translate complex technical problems into innovative, practical solutions.

**Schedule & Compensation**
This position is for a 12-hour rotating schedule, with current openings on the night shift. We value your critical expertise and offer a competitive compensation range of **$35 to $45 per hour**.
