**What You’ll Do**
As Pharmacy Manager (PIC), you’ll oversee day-to-day operations across pharmacy, admin, and sales—keeping everything compliant, profitable, and patient-focused. You’ll:
- Manage all pharmacy activities with a sharp eye on regulatory standards, ethical practice, and organizational policies.
- Keep the pharmacy physically organized and operationally smooth—from sterile compounding areas to supply flow.
- Act as the bridge between the Board of Managements and your staff, translating big-picture goals into daily wins.
- Interview, orient, and evaluate employees across departments, building a team that’s both skilled and motivated.
- Uphold healthcare regulations while serving as a go-to resource for resolving questions, problems, and process gaps.
- Drive strategic planning to boost revenue and continuously improve care quality—your ideas will matter here.
- Maintain deep knowledge of USP <797> to guarantee the quality, sterility, and stability of all compounded sterile preparations.
- Lead performance improvement: set expectations, develop plans, assess outcomes, and assign staff to keep everything evolving.
- Review charts and lab results for acceptance, product selection, device choice, and supply management.
**What You Bring**
You’re a licensed pharmacist who thrives on both clinical precision and business savvy. Here’s what we need:
- **Required:** B.S. or PharmD in good standing with the SC Board of Pharmacy.
- **Required:** Strong interactive skills with employees, referral sources, physicians, and consumers.
- **Required:** Excellent written and verbal customer service skills, plus advanced computer proficiency.
- **Required:** A solid business and financial understanding of running a profitable operation.
- **Preferred:** 3+ years of clinical experience.
- **Preferred:** Experience managing pharmacy support personnel.
- **Preferred:** At least 1 year of infusion therapy and sterile compounding experience.
- **Preferred:** Sterile compounding training.
