**What You’ll Do**
You’ll own the architecture, design, and development of FPGA and ASIC solutions for advanced weapon system fuzes. Your day-to-day will mix deep technical work with real-world impact:

- Design and debug FPGA and microcontroller hardware, plus the firmware that brings them to life
- Write Verilog HDL targeting Antifuse and enhanced Flash FPGAs (Microsemi/Actel is our playground)
- Build and verify sensor interfaces, A/D and D/A paths, communication protocols, state machines, and timer chains
- Use QuestaSim for simulation and System Verilog UVM for verification
- Develop C# code for enhanced Flash microcontrollers
- Analyze performance and functional issues in test environments or target host systems
- Contribute to process improvements that keep hardware-firmware quality high and time-to-market low

**What You Bring**
- Bachelor’s degree + 6 years of relevant experience (or Master’s + 4 years, or 10 years without a degree)
- Strong Verilog skills for logic design
- C programming for embedded systems—algorithms, data structures, optimized code
- Hands-on experience with lab tools: logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, JTAG/ICE debuggers, protocol analyzers

**Nice-to-Haves**
- System Verilog verification experience (AVM, VMM, OVM, or UVM)
- C# development for enhanced Flash microcontrollers
