You’ll be the backbone of a massive, high-stakes data center build in Del Valle, Texas—working directly with a confidential global client and their general contractor to keep a mission-critical project on track. **What You’ll Do**
You’ll own the schedule health for a flagship data center site. That means diving deep into the details every week—reviewing GC updates, verifying logic, and flagging risks before they become delays. You’ll walk the site to check progress firsthand, then translate what you see into clear reports for the client team and upper management.
- Perform weekly GC schedule QA/QC reviews, ensuring every update is accurate and defensible
- Review and approve contractor and vendor detailed schedules and progress updates
- Analyze baseline submissions: verify scope is fully captured, logically sequenced, and ready for execution—then deliver written review comments
- Conduct forensic analysis on schedule updates and milestone variance reports
- Run Time Impact Analyses for change orders and lead schedule negotiations with contractors for delay settlements
- Train and mentor construction managers and project controls specialists on scheduling best practices
- Read drawings to confirm scope and interpret contract terms for compensable vs. non-compensable time extensions
- Assess schedule impacts from changes or claims, and recommend recovery paths
**What You Bring**
You’re a scheduler who doesn’t just click buttons in Primavera P6—you understand why a sequence works (or doesn’t). You’ve got 3–5+ years in data center or other mission-critical construction, and you can walk a site, read a spec, and spot a logic gap from across the room.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering
- Deep proficiency in Primavera P6
- Solid grasp of standard construction practices, project sequencing, and installation methods
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience reviewing time impact analyses and recovery schedules
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills—you can explain a delay to a project manager and a contractor in the same meeting
