We’re looking for a Business Development Representative to own a dynamic territory and be a primary driver of our growth. This is a hybrid role based out of our historic Brooklyn Navy Yard office, with a focus on the NY Metro market and the freedom to sell virtually across the United States. **Your Mission**

You will be the catalyst for new business, responsible for the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You’ll build a robust pipeline by identifying and targeting potential clients through strategic research, networking, and both cold and warm outreach. Your goal is to establish and nurture strong, trusted relationships with business owners and C-level executives, becoming a valued advisor rather than just a salesperson.

A key part of your role involves delivering compelling presentations and product demonstrations that clearly translate our services into tangible benefits for your prospects. You will expertly manage and prioritize your leads and sales activities to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets. After the close, you’ll ensure a smooth handoff to our Client Services Group and look for opportunities to grow the relationship further.

**What You Bring**

* A proven track record of at least 3 years in B2B sales, with a history of meeting or exceeding quotas. Experience in payroll, HR, or financial services is a significant plus.
* A genuine hunter mentality—you’re self-motivated, resilient, and love the process of prospecting and building a territory.
* Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities and the problem-solving savvy to navigate challenges.
* Excellent organizational skills and tech proficiency to manage your pipeline and activities efficiently.
* The communication skills and confidence to engage with decision-makers and present complex solutions clearly.

**Compensation & Benefits**

We believe in rewarding success. This role offers a competitive base salary of $60,000 - $80,000, plus a commission structure designed for high earners—your total on-target earnings should reach six figures. You’ll also enjoy a comprehensive benefits package and a generous PTO policy.
