**You will be the key architect of progress, responsible for:**

- Developing complete engineering designs, material specifications, and accurate project cost estimates from the ground up.
- Conducting in-depth feasibility studies and research to ensure every design choice is sound and innovative.
- Ensuring all designs meet rigorous standards and codes, validating field work, and creating precise as-built drawings.
- Leading project coordination, acting as the central hub between vendors, contractors, and plant teams to keep complex projects on schedule and on budget.
- Directing vendors and contractors on layout planning and utility requirements, while reviewing consultant work to ensure excellence.
- Defining project scope, preparing proposals, evaluating bids, and conducting crucial planning reviews during pre-project phases.
- Owning project financials, managing budgets to meet targets, and monitoring installations to ensure they align with specs, timelines, and financial goals.
- Maintaining impeccable documentation, from manuals and drawings to specifications and vendor contacts.

**You bring the vision and expertise we need:**

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field, paired with at least 5+ years of hands-on project engineering experience.
- The ability to apply sound engineering principles to solve real-world operational and design challenges.
- A solid understanding of installation and construction project scheduling.
- Experience in food processing or the meat industry is a significant plus, as is knowledge of the unique engineering principles in this space.

**Compensation & Details:**
This is a full-time, on-site position in Denison, Iowa, offering a competitive annual salary of $100,000 - $130,000, plus bonus potential.
