**Your Mission**

You will be the right hand to our attorneys, managing the lifecycle of personal injury cases. This means you’ll build strong relationships with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel while ensuring every detail is meticulously handled. Your day-to-day will be dynamic, combining client care with deep legal process work.

Your core responsibilities will include:
* Drafting, reviewing, and filing critical legal documents—complaints, discovery, motions, and settlement agreements.
* Managing case files with precision, ensuring all documentation is accurate and current.
* Coordinating key case events like depositions, independent medical exams (IMEs), and court appearances.
* Requesting, reviewing, and summarizing medical records and bills to build compelling case narratives.
* Serving as a direct liaison for clients, providing clear updates and gathering essential information with empathy.
* Vigilantly tracking all deadlines to guarantee timely court filings.
* Preparing comprehensive trial materials, including notebooks and exhibits, for hearings and trials.
* Assisting in the negotiation and finalization of lien resolutions and settlements.

**What You Bring**

You are a proactive and seasoned paralegal who understands that behind every file is a person needing guidance. You bring:
* A minimum of 3 years of direct experience as a paralegal within a plaintiff-side personal injury law firm.
* A solid grasp of personal injury litigation, New York court procedures, and legal terminology.
* Proficiency with legal case management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to multitask without letting details slip.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills—you can explain complex processes clearly.
* The initiative to work independently and the collaborative spirit to work as part of a dedicated team.
* A paralegal certificate or degree is preferred, but your proven experience is paramount.

**Compensation & Benefits**

This role offers a competitive salary of $70,000 - $75,000 annually, commensurate with your experience.
