Maintenance Reliability Manager

📍 Lewistown, Pennsylvania 💰 $100,000 - $150,000 🏢 Full Time
**About This Opportunity**
At KnowHireMatch.com, we believe the best manufacturing environments are built by people who see the big picture—and the tiny details that make it all run. This isn’t just a seat at a plant in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. It’s a chance to own the reliability and process excellence of a facility that values your judgment, your curiosity, and your drive to make things better every single day. If you’re the kind of engineer who gets excited about a well-run kaizen event and knows how to turn data into real-world improvements, this role is for you.

**What You’ll Do**
You’ll be the backbone of daily production, keeping processes stable and pushing them toward peak performance. Your days will blend hands-on troubleshooting with strategic thinking. Here’s a taste of what you’ll own:

- Monitor process performance in real time, stepping in to solve issues before they become problems.
- Write and refine work instructions, process flows, and standard work—making the complex clear for everyone on the floor.
- Dive into production data (scrap rates, cycle times, downtime) to spot patterns and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead root cause analysis when things go sideways, then implement corrective and preventive actions that stick.
- Champion Lean and Six Sigma projects, from kaizen events to waste reduction initiatives that cut costs and boost throughput.
- Manage capital projects from start to finish: equipment selection, ROI analysis, installation, and commissioning. You’ll coordinate with vendors, Maintenance, and Operations to ensure seamless startups.
- Support new product introductions by setting up trials, documenting processes, and validating equipment to meet quality and safety standards.
- Train operators on updated procedures, ensuring improvements are sustained long after the project ends.

**What You Bring**
- 5+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
- A proven track record with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies—you’ve led kaizen events and can show measurable results.
- Strong analytical skills: you’re comfortable with data, root cause analysis, and making decisions based on facts, not guesses.
- Experience managing capital projects, including writing justifications, selecting equipment, and overseeing installation.
- The ability to collaborate across teams—Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain—without losing sight of your own goals.
- A bias for action: you don’t just identify problems; you fix them and make sure they stay fixed.

**Compensation & Perks**
- $100,000 – $150,000 per year, based on experience.
- Bonus potential.
- A role where your ideas matter and your impact is visible every shift.
