They’re looking for a Cost Accountant who doesn’t just crunch numbers—but connects them to real-world decisions. This isn’t a back-office role. **What You’ll Do**
You’ll own the cost side of the business—from raw materials to finished goods. Every month, you’ll dig into variances, validate cost of goods sold, and reconcile inventory sub-ledgers to the general ledger. You’ll investigate cycle count discrepancies and turn them into actionable fixes.

But it doesn’t stop there. You’ll oversee daily inventory control, monitoring stock levels, transactions, and material movements. You’ll analyze data to spot trends, uncover cost-saving opportunities, and propose process improvements. You’ll also lead cost analyses, rate studies, and standard manufacturing cost reviews.

When it comes to internal controls, you’ll identify weaknesses in costing systems and inventory processes—then recommend changes that improve transactional integrity. You’ll also help direct physical inventory counts and reconciliations.

**What You Bring**
- A BS in Accounting or a related field.
- At least three years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid knowledge of standard, weighted average, and actual cost accounting methods.
- Experience with a fully integrated ERP (Microsoft Dynamics is a plus), plus COGNOS Business Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and advanced Excel skills.

You’re dependable, organized, and flexible enough for occasional travel. You also handle sensitive information with discretion.

- **Compensation:** $75,000–$90,000, plus a 12% 401(k) match and quarterly bonus
- **Work environment:** Fast-paced, team-oriented, and hands-on. You’ll need near vision, fine manipulation, and the ability to sit for extended periods—but the work itself is anything but static.
