**Your Mission:**
You will be the technical cornerstone for a team of up to 10 Design Engineers, guiding projects from concept to customer delivery. You’ll ensure every system and product not only meets but exceeds expectations for durability, performance, and innovation.

**What You’ll Do:**

* Own engineering projects from start to finish by deeply understanding customer needs, market demands, and competitive landscapes.
* Evaluate and innovate mechanical systems by applying principles of mechanics, hydraulics, and materials science.
* Design and execute rigorous feasibility studies and testing protocols to confirm system capabilities and product quality.
* Develop manufacturing processes with a sharp eye for cost reduction and continuous improvement, designing or modifying equipment for optimal fabrication and assembly.
* Become the go-to engineering authority, providing critical information by answering questions and requests from across the organization.
* Ensure compliance with all government regulations to uphold our sterling product and company reputation.
* Maintain our product database and stay ahead of the curve by engaging with professional networks, publications, and societies.

**You Bring:**

* A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of proven engineering experience.
* Advanced computer skills and technical proficiency in Excel and industry-standard Design software systems.
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to collaborate effectively.
* A big plus: Experience in heavy haul trailer or heavy equipment engineering.
