**Your Role: Advocate and Strategist**
You will own a caseload of plaintiff-side personal injury and medical malpractice matters, serving as the lead attorney from intake through resolution. Your days will be dynamic, blending deep legal strategy with compassionate client care. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing all phases of litigation, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
* Taking and defending depositions, including those of expert witnesses.
* Regularly appearing in court for conferences, hearings, oral arguments, and trials.
* Evaluating case merits, developing winning strategies, and negotiating substantial settlements.
* Providing consistent, clear communication to clients, guiding them through the process with empathy.
* Supervising and collaborating with a supportive team of paralegals and legal assistants.
**What You Bring**
You are a seasoned litigator with a proven track record in plaintiff-side law. You thrive under pressure and derive professional satisfaction from securing favorable outcomes for your clients.
* A Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active admission to the New York State Bar.
* At least 3 years of experience litigating personal injury and/or medical malpractice cases; trial experience is a significant advantage.
* Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical abilities.
* Powerful negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills.
* The capacity to manage a demanding caseload in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing detail.
* A client-centered approach, built on strong interpersonal skills and genuine compassion.
**Compensation & Benefits**
