General Manager
📍 Lake Geneva, Wisconsin
đź’° $200,000 - $290,000
🏢 Full Time
**About This Opportunity**
This isn’t just another leadership role—it’s a chance to take the reins of a high-stakes corrugated box packaging plant in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, and drive real, measurable impact. If you live and breathe paper-to-box conversion, if you know the hum of a corrugator like a second language, and if you’re ready to own profitability from the floor up, this is your next move. We’re looking for a General Manager who doesn’t just manage—who builds, leads, and transforms.
**What You’ll Be Doing**
You’ll have full P&L responsibility for this facility, and your decisions will ripple through every shift, every machine, every customer relationship. Here’s what that looks like day to day:
- Drive plant profitability while holding the line on safety and quality—no shortcuts, no compromises
- Develop and execute business plans that don’t just sit on a shelf but actually move the needle toward the company’s strategic vision
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that tie directly to where the business is headed, not just where it’s been
- Partner closely with commercial and sales teams to spot growth opportunities and nurture key accounts—you’ll be the bridge between operations and the market
- Oversee production improvements that hit both short-term targets and long-term divisional goals, always chasing optimum efficiency
**Your Background**
We need someone who’s been in the trenches of corrugated box manufacturing—specifically paper-to-box conversion. If your experience is limited to sheet plants, pulp plants, or non-corrugated materials like plastics or container board, this isn’t the fit. You must have hands-on corrugator machine experience and a proven track record in box conversion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering strongly preferred
- 5+ years of progressive management experience, with at least 3 years in an industry segment management role
- Solid operational oversight, including budget and financial management—you know how to read a P&L and act on it
- A natural ability to set clear goals, lead by example, and build a culture of accountability
- Project management chops with a history of hitting KPIs like production efficiencies, overhead control, output profitability, and safety/reliability
**Compensation & Perks**
This is a direct-hire role with a compensation range of **$200,000 to $290,000 per year**, plus full benefits and relocation assistance. You’ll be based in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin—a place where you can lead a major operation and still enjoy life outside the plant.
If you’re ready to own the numbers, lead the team, and make your mark in corrugated packaging, we want to hear from you.
