We’re looking for an Industrial Engineer to become the driving force behind continuous improvement at our manufacturing site in Decorah, Iowa. You’ll be the architect of efficiency, turning bottlenecks into breakthroughs.

**You will be the catalyst for change, with a focus on:**

* Leading the charge on lean manufacturing initiatives. You’ll be hands-on, implementing 5S, standard work, value stream mapping, and Kaizen events to systematically eliminate waste and boost productivity.
* Developing people as much as processes. You will manage and mentor IE operators and technicians, while also acting as a coach and change agent for Leads, Supervisors, and Managers to foster a true continuous improvement (CI) culture.
* Owning the roadmap for improvement. Collaborating with the Operations Manager and Site Leadership, you’ll help develop and execute a CI strategy that drives us toward best-in-class performance.
* Designing the foundation of efficiency. This includes standardizing and optimizing manufacturing processes, sequences, and plant layouts to maximize flow and utilization.
* Spearheading critical projects from concept to completion. You will develop detailed plans, track performance, and ensure the timely delivery of improvement projects and savings goals. A key part of this is owning equipment capital expenditures—guiding design, vendor selection, procurement, and implementation.
* Building the tools for smarter decisions. You will lead the creation and enhancement of capacity models, production planning tools, and time standards.

**You bring the vision and the foundation:**

* A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with an Industrial Engineering degree required.
* A proven track record of at least 5 years in an Industrial Engineering role within manufacturing.
* Hands-on experience with data collection, root cause analysis, and practical problem-solving.
* Demonstrated ability to apply lean principles and throughput improvement processes in a tangible way.
* Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills that allow you to influence and teach at all levels.
* A self-motivated drive, with the flexibility to shift priorities and laser-focus on the most critical tasks.
